Why Is A Complete Program – Better?
Six Disciplines is a complete program for strategy execution. By “complete”, we mean a holistic approach; one that significantly improves results due to the synergy of components working together.
It’s easiest to understand our complete program by breaking it down into its four required components:
- Methodology. While a methodology (a blueprint, framework, process, approach, etc.) is very useful, if used only by itself, it will only offer you so much benefit.
- Coaching. While coaching (executive coaching, business coaching, individual coaching, etc.) can be very effective, if used only by itself, it will only offer you and your organization a limited return on investment.
- Software. While software (balanced scorecards, cascading goals, executive dashboards, performance appraisals, etc.) can be very efficient, if used only by itself, it becomes just another software tool that’s rarely used or not used t to its potential.
